Ferment Alchemy is a pioneering ingredient company specialising in traditional, handcrafted fermentation — bringing over 15 years of dedicated research and development into a portfolio of organic fermented botanical ingredients.

Our proprietary kombucha-kefir fermentation process was developed by our founder, a Nutritional Therapist working alongside a specialist team of fermentation biochemists. After the commercial success of these ingredients through established consumer brands Living Nutrition and Living Alchemy, Ferment Alchemy has been created to bring these ingredients directly to the B2B market.

O U R   F E R M E N T A T I O N   P R O C E S S

RAW INGREDIENTS

We use the very best locally sourced, organically certified ingredients. We work directly with our growers — who deliver to us freshly harvested — to ensure quality.

STAGE 1 FERMENTATION

Our fermentation process begins by creating a highly active ferment starter, combining our specialised kombucha SCOBYs and water kefir grains with 120+ microbial species.

STAGE 2 FERMENTATION

We then add the ferment starter to our organic botanical and ferment in controlled and monitored conditions suited to each individual botanical, to create the desired results.

STAGE 3
FREEZE DRYING

Once the fermentation is complete, we carefully freeze dry to concentrate and stabilise the ingredient without the loss of key nutrients and beneficial microbes.

FINAL INGREDIENTS

The final fermented ingredient is now fully transformed into a highly bioavailable, probiotic-rich, nutrient-dense powder ready to use as a stable food supplement.
